<p>Tax Manager</p><p>San Juan, PR | Hybrid</p><p>Salary: $100,000 - $110,000</p><p>+ Benefits Package</p><p><br></p><p>Well-established local public accounting firm is seeking a Tax Manager to lead its tax department and oversee compliance operations for individual and corporate clients.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Supervise preparation and review of corporate, individual, and related tax returns.</li><li>Ensure compliance with Puerto Rico and federal tax regulations.</li><li>Lead the tax team by assigning work, monitoring deadlines, and managing workflow.</li><li>Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior and senior staff.</li><li>Maintain direct communication with clients regarding tax matters and planning opportunities.</li><li>Review financial reports and supporting tax documentation for accuracy.</li><li>Identify tax planning and optimization opportunities for clients.</li><li>Stay current with changes in Puerto Rico and federal tax laws.</li><li>Support department goals, productivity targets, and process improvements.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.</li><li>Active CPA license required.</li><li>Minimum 5 years of tax compliance and consulting experience in public accounting.</li><li>Prior experience in a local public accounting firm highly preferred.</li><li>Experience managing Puerto Rico and federal tax returns.</li><li>Leadership experience supervising staff.</li><li>Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>For confidential consideration, please apply directly or message me for additional details.</p><br/><br/>Please mention the word SILENT and tag RMmEwMTo0Zjk6YzAxNDpjZGVjOjox when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMmEwMTo0Zjk6YzAxNDpjZGVjOjox).
