<p>We are a <strong>digital marketing agency</strong> looking for a <strong>Digital Analytics Consultant</strong> to support our team and eCommerce clients, particularly in the following areas:</p>
<ul>
<li>Implementation and optimisation of <strong>GA4 tracking</strong></li>
<li><strong>Client-side and server-side Google Tag Manager</strong></li>
<li><strong>Consent Management Platforms (CMPs)</strong></li>
<li>Ideally, tracking implementations in combination with <strong>Shopify</strong></li>
</ul>
<p>We are open to both <strong>freelancers</strong> and candidates seeking <strong>permanent employment</strong>, on either a <strong>full-time or part-time basis</strong>.</p>
<h2>Tasks</h2>
<ul>
<li>Lead the design and implementation of advanced <strong>GA4 tracking setups</strong>, including <strong>GA4 Enhanced E-commerce</strong></li>
<li>Develop, implement, and maintain <strong>client-side and server-side Google Tag Manager configurations</strong></li>
<li>Implement and optimise <strong>Google Consent Mode</strong></li>
<li>Ensure that <strong>Consent Management Platforms (CMPs)</strong> are properly integrated, GDPR-compliant, and compatible with analytics and marketing tools; legal expertise is not required, but relevant experience is an advantage</li>
<li>Provide strategic and technical <strong>analytics consulting to our German-speaking clients</strong></li>
<li>Collaborate with our English-speaking internal tech support team to build, challenge, and continuously optimise tracking setups</li>
<li>Support data integrations with <strong>BigQuery and Looker Studio</strong>, with additional assistance from specialist team members</li>
<li>Provide general technical support across <strong>Digital Analytics, Tracking, and MarTech</strong></li>
</ul>
<h2>Requirements</h2>
<ul>
<li>At least <strong>five years of hands-on experience in Digital Analytics</strong>, ideally more</li>
<li>Expert-level knowledge of <strong>GA4, Google Tag Manager, and Consent Management Platforms</strong>; experience with <strong>Shopify</strong> is an advantage</li>
<li>Experience in a relevant digital marketing discipline, such as <strong>Paid Search, Paid Social, or Display Advertising</strong></li>
<li>Proven experience with <strong>server-side Google Tag Manager</strong> is essential</li>
<li>A solid understanding of the <strong>GDPR</strong> and its implications for digital tracking and data collection</li>
<li>Familiarity with <strong>BigQuery, Looker Studio, and other Google Cloud tools</strong></li>
<li>Basic <strong>JavaScript</strong> skills, particularly in areas such as event handling and dataLayer manipulation</li>
<li>Ability to advise clients professionally in <strong>German</strong> and communicate fluently in <strong>English</strong> with our internal team</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solution-oriented approach in a technical environment</li>
