Software Engineer - Sensor Fusion (m/f/d)

<p style=";">As a Software Engineer for Sensor Fusion, you will help develop software that combines data from</p><p style=";">multiple sensors into reliable system-level information.</p><p style=";"> Your focus will be the design, implementation, and validation of fusion and tracking functionality for real-world sensor</p><p style=";">data. This includes working on robust processing logic, track association, state fusion, system behavior analysis,</p><p style=";">and test coverage for the fusion pipeline.</p><p style=";"> </p><p style=";">When new sensor sources are introduced, you will support their integration into the fusion system by helping define how</p><p style=";">their data is represented, aligned, validated, and used within the tracking and fusion logic.</p><p style=";">You will collaborate closely with software, systems, sensor, and test engineers to bring fusion capabilities from concept to</p><p style=";">system-level validation.</p><p style=";"><br /><br /></p><h4><strong>What is your Day to Day Mission:</strong></h4><ul><li><p>Design, implement, and maintain software components for multi-sensor fusion and tracking.</p></li><li><p>Develop processing logic for combining information from multiple sensor sources.</p></li><li><p>Work on data alignment, association, tracking, and fusion behavior.</p></li><li><p>Analyze simulated and real sensor data to understand and improve system behavior.</p></li><li><p>Support the integration of new sensor sources into the fusion pipeline when needed.</p></li><li><p>Implement automated tests and support system-level validation of fusion functionality.</p></li><li><p>Improve logging, diagnostics, and tooling for debugging real-world scenario.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with software, systems, sensor and test engineers on interfaces, requirements and integration constraints.</p><p style=";"></p></li></ul><br /><br /><h4><strong><br />What you bring to the team:</strong><br /></h4><ul><li><p>Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.</p></li><li><p>Strong software engineering skills in Rust, C++, or a similar systems language.</p></li><li><p>Experience with complex software systems, robotics, autonomous systems, or real-time data processing.</p></li><li><p>Good understanding of mathematics, coordinate systems, or signal/data processing.</p></li><li><p>Interest in sensor fusion, tracking, state-estimation, or perception systems.</p></li><li><p>Ability to write clean, testable, and maintainable code.</p></li><li><p>Hands-on mindset for debugging, validation, and working with real system data.</p></li><li><p>Fluent written and spoken English.</p></li></ul><p><br /></p><h4><strong>Why Quantum-Systems:</strong></h4><ul><li><p>We believe in the power of combined efforts: straightforward tech expertise paired with a customer-centric focus.</p></li><li><p>We are industry pioneers who are ambitious, bold, and visionary. </p></li><li><p>We push limits,
